By Air - The closest airport to the fascinating city of Manali is at Bhuntar, which is situated at a distance of about 50 kms from Manali. From Bhuntar there are regular bus services. Also fixed price taxis also run from Bhuntar to Manali.From Bhuntar, one can take a taxi or a bus to Manali.

By Rail - The nearest railway station from Manali is at Joginder Nagar

By Road - The road to Manali goes by the quaint valley of Kullu. The Bus-Stand is in the heart of the city on the Mall. The road connections are with other cities in Himachal as well as near by cities in other states.

Local Transport
The local transport that is easily available in the city is Taxis and buses. Himachal Taxi Operators' Union provides taxi services to and from many destinations in and around the city. A number of public and deluxe buses run in the city. Two computerized booking booths are at the bus stand. They open between early mornings to 5:00 pm in the evening. Advance booking facility is also available.

Climate & Temperature

Manali is blessed with an awesome climate all throughout the year. Summers are cool and winters are chilly. The beautiful province never experience the scorching heat of the Sun. Due to the proximity of the snow-clad mountains, Manali gets this cool climatic conditions.
