Himachal is a land of dances. Dances are an expression of joy and festive spirit . All festivals are celebrated with dance and music. Different tribes in Himachal have their own different dances. Dance forms like Dulshol, Dharveshi, Drodi, Dev Naritya, Rakshas Nritya, Dangi, Lasa, Nati and Nagas are the popular ones. They come as a welcome break from the monotony of life.

With a sprawling 95.77% of Hindus, the state of Himachal yet showcases a fine blend of various races in its inhabitants. The place is also inhabited by some Muslims who reside in Chamba, Kangra and Simaur Valleys. This state also has 1% population of Buddhist and residing in Trans Himalayan areas of Lahaul & Spiti and Kinnaur areas. Sikh population is also spread over Himachal Pradesh.
