Dalai Lama's headquarter of the government in exile, Dharmasala tour is a journey into the peacefulness of Buddhist preaching. The package takes you to McLeodganj, The place where you can see a mini Tibet and, of course, the beauty of Tibetan culture. The Namgyal Monastery and the Potala palace are a definite attraction. Besides Rishikesh and Deoprayag adds to the charm, adding Hindu ideologies and values, through mystic and serene temples in the midst of the hills of Uttaranchal. You end up the package with a tour to Sikh temple at Amritsar, thus adding three spices to your religious curry.

Day 01 : Delhi - Haridwar - Rishikesh
Drive to Haridwar (222 kms / 6hrs), gateway to the gods situated on the bank of holy river Ganges. Continue drive to Rishikesh (24 Kms )for overnight stay

Day 02 : Rishikesh - Deoprayag - Rishikesh
Morning excursion to Deoprayag (2 hrs) -showcase of traditions, myths and mysticism. Here the holy rivers Bhagirathi & Alaknanda meet and take the name of "Ganga" (Ganges). Evening witness the "Sandhya Aarti" (Evening prayers) at Triveni Ghat (bank of River Ganges).

Day 03 : Rishikesh - Overnight Train
Morning visit Rishikesh City of Nirvana dotted with numerous yoga centers. Evening drive to Saharanpur Railway station (2.5 hrs.) for an overnight journey to Pathankot .

Day 04 : Pathankot - Dharamshala by Car
Early morning arrival to Pathankot and transfer from Railway Station to Dharamshala (3 hrs / 91 kms). Rest of the day at leisure.

Day 05 : Dharamshala - McLeodgunj
Morning Visit Mcleodgunj- the little Tibet, the seat of exiled Government of Tibet headed by its spiritual leader - His Highnees The Dalai Lama.

Day 06 : Dharamshala - Amirtsar (200 kms. / 5 hrs.)
Drive to Amritsar (approx. 200 kms / 5 hrs). Late evening visit Golden Temple - the spiritual nerve center of the Sikh faith, to witness the evening ceremony of taking of the holy book (Guru Granth Sahib ) from the main shrine.

Morning sight seeing of Amirtsar including the Golden Temple and Jallianwala Bagh. Late afternoon transfer to Railway station for departure to Delhi by Shatabdi Express Train. Transfer to hotel upon arrival in Delhi.

Day 07 : Amritsar - Delhi
Transfer to the Airport and depart to connect Flight for onward destination. ( If time permits you can have city tour of Delhi -) Hotel checkout 12:00 Hrs.
